There will be an informational meeting on March 27 at 5 pm in the CHS library for upcoming Juniors and their parents to learn about the Middle College Program through Jackson State. Students must have a 3.0 or higher grade point average to be eligible for the program. Staff from CHS and Jackson State and current middle college students will be available to provide information about the program and answer questions.

Benton County Schools to Hold 8th Grade Orientation Camden Central High School will begin orientation for the incoming freshmen classes from Big Sandy, Camden Junior High, and Holladay. Parents/guardians will meet in the gym on Tuesday, March 4, at 6:00 p.m. These are extremely important meetings! A lot of important information concerning the 9th-grade year will be discussed. School counselors will be on hand to distribute the Programs of Study booklet and to schedule classes for the following school year. Various clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities will be there for demonstrations and explanations. Attendance is a necessary step to a successful high school career. See you there!
