Our inaugural year for the 100 Mile Club was a testament to the dedication and hard work of our fourth and fifth graders. Every Tuesday after school, 20-30 students would push themselves to see how many miles they could cover. They set ambitious goals and persevered throughout the year. By April 30th, their collective efforts had amassed an impressive 1,117 miles! What a remarkable achievement!
This would not have been possible without Mrs. Donna Moore, who is with Coordinated School Health. She came up with the idea of helping to get this club running. She brought snacks and water each week for the runners and was a big help!
We know next year will be even bigger and better, and we can’t wait to get back to it!
