Holladay (September 15, 2023) - Holladay Elementary School is thrilled to announce that it has received a generous donation of $800 from the Mt. Caramel #333 Masonic Lodge. This kind gesture was made possible by 43 members of the Lodge, who discussed the idea and decided to support the local school.
Secretary Larry Cooper presented the idea to the group, and they all agreed that this would be a great way to support the community and achieve the Lodge's primary goal of helping widows, orphans, and the community. The donation was presented to Principal Amy Davis on September 13, 2023, by District 5 Chairman Kevin Stepp, Worshipful Master Bill Lemons, and Secretary Larry Cooper.
Holladay Elementary School is very grateful for the support of the Masonic Lodge, and they plan to use the funds to improve the school's book program. In addition to the financial contribution, one member of the Lodge has also volunteered to provide tech support for the school's computer lab. Cooper, Lemons, and Stepp all expressed their desire to be actively involved in the Holladay community and to support the education of local students.
