From this school year onwards, the Benton County Board of Education has adopted the Capturing Kids' Hearts program by the Flippen Group. The district aims to implement transformational processes in every classroom in Benton County, focusing on social-emotional well-being, a relationship-driven campus culture, and student connectedness, using relational, intentional, and transformational strategies. Every teacher, administrator, and staff member has undergone Capturing Kids' Hearts process training. Benton County was delighted to have Lieutenant General Robert "Van" Vanantwerp, US Army, Ret. as the keynote speaker at its annual "county-wide" meeting, which kicked off the school year.
